Questions
Who counts as a worker?
Everyone with an employment contract or relationship as defined by national law, including part-time and fixed-term staff. Check your national law for the reference date used to count.
Do companies under 100 workers have to report?
Not under the Directive. A country may extend reporting to smaller employers, and every employer, whatever its size, must follow the pay-range, pay-history and right-to-information rules.
What if my country has no law yet?
The Directive's deadline for national laws was 7 June 2026. Where a law is missing, plan on the Directive dates: data for 2026 matters for the first reports in 2027.
Not legal advice. Based on Directive (EU) 2023/970 Art. 9 and national sources checked 27 Oct 2026.
